Lush Haul!

Porridge Soap: $5.95 for 3.5 oz

Made out of oats and smell SUPER organic and wholesome. 

I feel like this one will be exfoliating and moisturizing. 

Rockstar Soap: $7.95 for 3.5 oz

I cannot get over how this one smells. It is indescribable. 

This one = L.O.V.E.

Honey I washed the Kids: $7.95 for 3.5 oz

I can't get over how cute looking this soap is. It has a very organic feel to it.

It also smells really sweet and innocent, and VERY summery. 

Bon Bain Bonnard Bath Bomb: $5.95

This is a HUGE bath bomb, and smells of oranges and roses. 

It has colored sea salt inside, and is supposed to be very relaxing. 

I can't wait to try this one out!

Butterball Bath Bomb: $4.85

This one has cocoa butter and vanilla, and is supposed to be oh so relaxing. 

This is one of the ones I am most wanting to try, because its supposed to 

almost turn the water milky. Talk about moisturizing!

Creamy Candy Bubble Bar: $6.65

This one you crumble under running bath water to create tons of bubbles 

to play with. Sounds fun right? AND it smells like rockstar!

Buffy: $10.75 for 3.3 oz

This one has ground rice, almonds, and aduki beans to exfoliate your skin 

while body butter soothes it. This little baby was one of the main reasons

I wanted to go to Lush in the first place!

Therapy Massage Bar: $8.75 for 2.2 oz

This is a solid lotion bar that you rub all over your skin after you get out

of the shower. It has lavender and neroli, and is supposed to be 

especially good with stretch marks. It melts right into your hands and feels incredible. 

What's going on in my life?

So I am writing this post in the off chance that you guys won't mind an odd post that has nothing to do with product reviews or beauty. I am in my 3 hour evening class, but I wanted to update this. I can't do swatches or take pictures because I am not home so I am going to just ramble. Mostly I have been busy as a bumblebee with full time school (pre-law BTW), my sorority, two channels on youtube I try to keep up with, my blog, my twitter, and my new little business (glitzy-glam.com). I also have this strange urge to start writing my own ebook, but I really have no idea what I would put in it right now (beauty tips? makeup looks? childhood pictures? - LOL kidding about the pics).  I have tomorrow off, so I am going to film a few videos, including my lush haul, which is my new love. I have only ever ordered lush online, so I never gotten the chance to sit there and smell all the different scents, but it was so so much fun. My favorite item? Rockstar soap - by far. This is based only off smell though, because I haven't actually used any of the products yet. I am saving them for when I go home in 10 days to my big bathtub. Ooh - makes me warm inside just to think about it :) I am going to make a haul tomorrow and then a review sometime while I am home after I have tried everything out. 

While at the mall I ran into several people who recognized me from youtube, including these two ADORABLE youngsters. Their names were Shea and Sarah, and I promised to give them a shoutout in a video. So yeah, if you ever see me bee-boppin' around your mall, say hi! I promise I will be nice! 

On a different note Mac was out of my studio sculpt foundation shade, NW15. Yes, I am pale pale pale. She sent me away with a fat sample so I am going to try it out and make sure I do not break out from it. If it works I am going to order it online.

Calling all Lush junkies!

So I am going to a Lush tomorrow YAY! I have tried just  few of their products and have loved every single one, but I have never actually gone to a store/counter. If you do not know what Lush is, you can view then at http://www.lush.com

Anyways so I have sat here for about an hour making a tentative list of some things I want to try. If any of you have tried these or have suggestions for even better products, please let me know! Odd organic bath products like these are my favorite - I could spend all my money there.

Beauty trick of the week

Ok ladies, I have a VERY special trick to share with you. If you have heard of this then thats great, but if not, you have to try this. You know that good old fashioned Vaseline that everyone has under their bathroom counter? Well dig that out and put it on your vanity because I have a good use for it other than to soothe chapped lips and chaffed skin.

Next time you go out on the town and wear those strappy shoes that are super cute but KILL your feet, put some vaseline on your feet where your shoes rub. This sounds weird, but it will not damage your shoes and it will create a slick boundary between the shoe and your foot, and will keep blisters from forming. Vaseline saves my feet when I go dancing or even just a night out, since I am a huge fan of heels.

Out:

1) The cold weather - Dear Mother Nature, please do not make it cold again. I love the 55 degree weather. 

2) The clutter in my room. I have decided I am going to box everything up that I do not either use or need for decoration and send it home. I have a problem where anything that is cute I want to keep around, even things like paper clips and 10 pencil cases. I don't need it lol!

3) Easy Mac - bleh!

4) The fact that I don't have very many "outs". This is good right?

Chi Silk Infusion

So I just thought I would give you a quick review of one of my current favorite products. This is silk infusion by Chi and retails for $8.95 for the 2 oz, $14.95 for the 6 oz, and $22.95 for the 12 oz one on www.beautychoice.com. I have the 2 oz. one that came free with my Chi curling iron and it has lasted me a very long time, so I would recommend going with the 2 or 6 oz vs. the 12 oz one to start with. 

I apply about a nickel sized amount of product to my hair while it is damp, running in through with my fingers, and then again with my brush to distribute the product. I am not a huge fan of hair products, mostly because I just can't be bothered most of the time. Because of this, this is the only product that I use other than my hairspray. I would not use this if it did not work really well but I can tell a complete difference when I use this. My hair is silkier, smoother, less frizzy, and easier to straighten. It also smells really nice and makes my hair actually feel stronger. I highly recommend this product to anyone, even if you just get the 2 oz size. 

I've done it again

So a few posts ago (which equals weeks in Elle time) I talked about how I was on the prowl (love hello kitty) for a new skin care line. I have branched off from my Neutrogena yet again! I really hope this one works because so far I absolutely love it. This could possibly be a holy grail routine if nothing goes wrong as it is still only day 3. I will keep you guys updated for sure as I continue to use this product, and in about a week I will do a video on it if all goes well.

On a side note, I have hired someone to make me a real webstore since my ecrater store is very basic and has a lot of glitches. She started working on it last night, thursday, and hopefully it will be ready ASAP. All you www.youtube.com/ellesglittergossip subscribers will see a video up as soon as it's ready. We will be shipping worldwide and adding more items to the inventory.

All day long I have been meaning to do a hello kitty haul and tutorial but I am been super busy so those will get done either later tonight or more likely by tomorrow afternoon. So YAY for that :)

My Blog Layout!

Yay! So finally my blog is actually cute looking. Since I am not good with HTML I got my friend haley (haleybean from youtube) to do this and it looks amazing! Maybe having a cute blog will make me want to use it more! Ok gotta go take my exam, but let me know what you think!

Blair gave me this funny bug shower radio for christmas and I am in love!

I put it in my shower and now I get to listen to the country channel every time I shower ( its the only channel that we get from the bathroom, good thing I like country!).
